Connection: the essence of what it means to be human.
Connection is what gives us purpose and meaning in life.
A good story always ends with human connection. In fact most times a good story involves overcoming a disconnect. For connection to happen we have to allow ourselves to be seen, to be vulnerable. The climax of a good story always arrives when the character chooses to become completely vulnerable and open to rejection. (Otherwise the girl never get the opportunity to say yes.) Only then is the character open for connection.
Connection is why Jesus's greatest commandment was to love God and to love people, not accomplish some amazing feat. Do great things, but always connect to your humanity.
