Focus is what we give our attention to.
The problem with your attention is it is limited. Its why people drive off the road while texting. Different tasks require different amounts of our attention. Texting requires a lot.
It's hard to focus in a world of distraction. Why do you think so many great thinkers where Greek? They all lived around other great thinkers who didn't have Facebook or cable TV.
Focus determines direction and creates priority. Have you ever asked "How did I get here?" Maybe the question should be "What was I focusing on to get here?" and "What do I need to focus on to get back on my path?"
Focus is a choice. Less isn't always more. But when it comes to focus: less is better. Be intentional with your focus.
